From Miami to currently Austin, I have been pondering one of life’s greatest mysteries. What does a woman do in the bathroom for so long? I began to ponder this mystery, philosophizing the secret ways of a woman and their possible whereabouts. Here is my top theory on this mystery, which I believe to be the most probable option.
Woman, I believe are not actually in the bathroom. Hair dryers and the sound of the shower are a mere ploy to make us men think they are in the bath room. What really happens is what I believe to be called the Pride and Prejudice theory. See I believe their one hour in the bathroom is spent watching an episode of the old English Pride and Prejudice. So you might be wondering, how? This is what I’ve concluded. I believe the phrase “I am going to straighten my hair” opens a secret doorway beneath the bathroom rug. Concelead by their own bathroom decorating, this door is invisible to the male eye. I also believe that these doorways lead to secret tunnels that connect to woman all over the world. I mean how many men have you seen actually decorate a bathroom. Eyes transfixed on their Pride and Prejudice, they have industrial strength hair dryers and a Jetsons like make up robots that prepare them for the day. I tend to believe there are 10-20 woman at a time that meet in these secret lairs. But then again this is just my theory.
On a serious note, I am surrounded by ladies that are constantly encouraging me and working just as hard as me to fight slavery. I truely believe I would be lost without such great, organized woman.
I think this issue of human trafficking is not a gender specific battle, the world needs men and women to fearlessly stand against trafficking. I believe that we need each other to tackle social, economical, and the issues of injustice related to modern day slavery.
