Today when I woke up I noticed that a bunch of people had Redeem the Shadows as their profile picture on facebook to show their support! Thank you to everyone who stands united with us.
Also we just premiered our first demonstration featuring a visual demonstration of people being sold as slaves. The demonstration brought a lot of awareness and inspired others to take action. We hope that we can set up demonstrations in every major city we visit.
With great success comes great trials! I couldn’t have imagined a more successful first week to tour. As we battle on, we are facing our first set of trials. Within the week, every member on the team has been sick and our van is going through some mechanical issues.
My first response was that of frustration, but now I see it as an opportunity to trust our Lord! Finding joy amongst the trials is our aim. We won’t let sickness, car troubles, or the forces of hell hold us back. We are on a mission to do our part in ending modern day slavery, and we will be renlentless till the end!
All this is to encourage you that no matter what opposes you, stand firm! No matter what trials come your way, find joy. And no matter how big the obstacle, know that God is much bigger.Till the bitter end, we will press on victorious in Christ!
