There is nothing that builds up your calve muscles like pushing a full size van out of gas uphill. Lesson learned, automobiles require gas to run.

As we carried on in Christ, we’ve braved the concrete jungles of Miami, blazed through Fort Lauderdale, and ignited West Palm Beach.

At the begining of the week we started our tour in Homestead at the Oasis church. This church was filled with a young generation of passionate believers and future abolitionists. They welcomed us with open arms and generous support.

The Black family generously housed us on their avocado plantation with 432 guacamole producing trees. After a thorough tour of their private farm, we appreciated the work that goes into farming. Little did we know what goes into growing the avocados that make the guacamole that we love so much. We took with us a few pounds of avocados that helped sustain us on the road.

Our travels continued to Fort Lauderdale where we meet some abolitionists who blew us away with their passion. We met with a girl named Casey who had befriended victims of modern day slavery and worked within the rehabilitation center. After seeing her passion, we were excited to see that there were others with a similar vision to see the fall of slavery.

Also in Fort Lauderdale Calvary Chapel’s school CCFA welcomed us into their social justice outreach classes and presented us with the opportunity to inspire students to make their stand against modern day slavery.

Working our way north we ended up in West Palm were we connected with an incredible church called Life Tree and stayed with the Richardsons. We spent a few days fellowshiping with their family of believers and felt that we were at a home away from home.

Yesterday we set a new record for most speaking engagements in a day. With three speaking engagements, we really stood united in our home town area! We spoke at Truth Church, Treasure Coast Victory Center, and Covenant Fellowship. All of them blessed us beyond imagination.

This week amounts to nothing short of amazing. The hospitality, the response, the passion, and even the trials. Hundreds were inspired by a message of hope and freedom through Christ and are taking a stand to fight modern day slavery.

Tomorrow is national human trafficking day. Help us spread awareness!!!!

Fighting Slavery Till My Last Breathe,
