The word vigorous is defined in the dictionary as:
1. strong, active, robust
2. energetic, forceful
3. powerful in action or effect
This is what Redeem The Shadows longs to be know as; an organization that is vigorously helping put an end to modern day slavery. An organization that longs to make a difference in the world of human trafficking victims. It is easy to put this vision on the backburner, saying that there are plenty of other organizations doing a fine job at supporting the cause. But Redeem The Shadows strives to be different. We are powerfully pressing onward to fight the war of modern day slavery because this is an urgent need. There are hundreds of thousands of women, men, and children being held captive by the monster known as slavery. Redeem The Shadows knows and believes that Christ came to set the captives free. Christ died on the cross so that we might be free to live a life full of joy, happiness, and most importantly, a life of knowing Christ and making Him known. Just as Christ vigorously chased after each one of us to set us free from our sin and shame, we are chasing vigorously to free the slaves, in Jesus name. As many of you know, we have a team of young adults who are touring the USA to raise awareness and support for Redeem The Shadows and the horrifying trap of modern day slavery. Their journey has already begun sharing in Miami, Florida and will continue for another three months as they track cross country to Seattle, Washington. These young adults are doing everything in their power to help fund a rehab center that will open first in India, and later in the United States.
