Mobilization is, simply put, to organize. It is the belief of Redeem The Shadows that our passions were not meant to sit idly inside us, but created to fuel the fire in all that we do. If you feel a passion to end modern day slavery, it’s time to assemble, and unite. Redeem The Shadows currently is working with Artists, Athletes, Professionals, Businesses, and Government Agencies to coordinate awareness events, and raise funds for rehabilitation clinics. Often times organizations tell individuals to think “Big”. Redeem The Shadows certainly has big dreams, but when it comes to getting assembled, Redeem The Shadows believes the key to ending modern day slavery is thinking locally. If you have a passion for those enslaved, one of the best things you can do –is host a local event; an awareness event, such as a marathon, coffee house event, or a Redeem The Shadows documentary showing. Start a local Redeem the Shadows chapter in your area= if you can provide the people, we will provide the materials. A local fund raiser, whether it be a collection at your school of coins, selling candy bars, or helping direct people to our website where they can purchase a tee shirt or generously give an online donation are all ways to help this cause. One Million Strong Campaign-By 11/11/2011 We are aiming to inspire one million people to take a stand against modern day slavery by pledging to get involved in the fight against this injustice.
Communities against Human Trafficking-This campaign will target educating communities about the problems of human trafficking and create a knowledgeable network of communities that are committed to keeping their communities traffic free.
Artists for Awareness: We aim to network with artists, photographers, designers, athletes, and musicians to share facts about human trafficking at their concerts and events.
Rehabilitation in India and USA: We intend on taking a holistic approach to rehabilitation. Trafficking victims need physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration. As important as those needs are, we are also partnering each rehab facility with a local church to assist in the spiritual restoration of the victims.
Businesses United Against Slavery – We are currently seeking to work with local and national businesses that have a passion for ending slavery. We partner with businesses in a variety of ways include allowing them to purchase ad space on our website, tour sponsorships, local events where a percentage of proceeds go to Redeem The Shadows, and organizing walks or marathons.
